Meet Jim and Ginny
Harrison
The Harrisons are the owners of Swimming for Life Swim School. While
Jim handles the behind-the-scenes responsibilities, Ginny brings over 40 years
of swimming instruction to the pool.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Ginny has taught in the Orlando area for over 20
years. She is qualified and certified to teach infants, toddlers, school
age children and adults. She has successfully coached competitive swim
teams, run children's summer camps and children's church programs.
Ginny encourages parent participation in every lesson. She uses a "gentle"
but "firm" approach. Parent and teacher work together as a team to help
instill self-confidence in every child while teaching solid swimming skills.
Each child is given the knowledge of how to save his or her own life if they
ever fall into the water. Along with this knowledge and the learning of
good swimming skills, the child becomes confident in the water.
